King Salmon Fishing on Lake Michigan
We left just before the sunset and drove all through the night. Just over 6 hours later we arrived to the launch in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. Immediately, we jumped in the boat, rigged up all the rods and headed out in to the dark Lake Michigan waters. The only thing keeping us awake was the anticipation of the screaming drags from King salmon ripping line off the reels.
We didn’t even have half of our lines set and the first rod went off.
