Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo

- Description: The largest fly fishing event in the region. With vendors from the Midwest and across the country including fly shops, guides, top brands, outfitters and non-profits, we offer the newest and best in the world of fly fishing. We also place a strong emphasis on fly fishing education and there will be nearly four dozen free programs and seminars, as well as on-going free casting instruction taking place over the three days of the event. Including when to fish, where to go, how to fish more efficiently, and other tips to make your time on the water more successful. Jason Swingen is a fly fishing guide based in Duluth, Minnesota, specializing in the diverse fisheries of Lake Superior and its surrounding watersheds. His expertise is focused on pursuing the area's prized steelhead, native brook trout, and aggressive smallmouth bass on the fly. A dedicated conservationist, Jason serves as the President of the Gitche Gumee Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
